GenArt Design Inc. was founded in 1986 by myself, Steven Region. Working in the electronics industry since 1976, I began generating printed circuit board artwork utilizing colored tape and puppets. The onset of the personal computer and newly developed layout software brought about the perfect opportunity to provide a valuable service to small companies. Previously, all CAD PCB design was performed on larger work stations making it financially out of reach for the average small business.
For over 30 years, GenArt Design has provided professional cost effective design solutions to both small and large companies. It has been our great pleasure to help launch more than one thousand new products. We have products in aviation, automotive, biomedical, industrial, leisure, marine, medical, sports and utilities to name a few.
In the past 15 years we have added Electronic Design, Schematic Capture and complete documentation services. During the process of aquiring new companies, our customers now have products they need to support. These products often have obsolete or missing information. We have established systems to regenerate the existing products and supply complete manufacturing documentation packages. We provide engineering support services to maintain these products through the complete life cycle of the product.
